*huge hugs* He already lost girl! from the moment you decided to survive and cleave to your own self worth and fight the feeling of the end, he lost. Even if it may not feel like it yet…I’m routing for you and that family of yours like you wouldn’t believe! (A lot of this hits home for me as the daughter of a survivor but i wont go into it on here.)\\

Hello Helen, thank you so much for stopping by at ‘Words of Joy’ and leaving such sweet encouragement there! It’s lovely to meet you and read your inspiring story here. I love the Albert Camus quote and these words especially:”I want, more than anything, to be the light that let’s others see.” Amen, me too! Go girl! With God all things are possible. And you are already achieving your objective right here, right now, and around the blogosphere. May God bless you and continue to inspire and fire your writing to His praise and glory. 🙂 x

Many, many, thanks. I have your blog open in it’s own tab and am planning on sitting down later tonight and reading through at leisure…. [I was so inspired by your bravery in face of your troubles – I have fibromyalgia and whilst nothing like your health problems, I fully appreciate what less than 100% health means in practical, emotional and psychological terms]….it has been wonderful, truly wonderful, to find you through FMF and to find such inspiration in your words, your example and your creativity. Thank you.

How kind and sweet of you! I am delighted we’ve ‘met’ in the blogosphere and benefited from reading one another’s work. I also have Fibromyalgia (among other things) and can fully sympathise with how you may feel at times. I hope and pray your pain isn’t too bad and you can continue to pour out your heart here. You inspire me too! Blessings to you. 🙂 x

I love this. I know quote a few single mothers. And they a.m.a.z.e. me. Whether by choice or chance. To be both parents is an incredible feat. One that you have to take on with courage and determination, but also be willing to cut yourself a break and forgive yourself (like each and every parent). So well written and thought-provoking! Thank you for sharing!! ❤

Many thanks for your comment: so much appreciated. I don’t think anyone would ever admit to being a great Mama, but I reflect, every day, and try to make positive changes to be that little bit better each and every day….let’s hope I am doing OK!

Hello. I stumbled on your blog and loved it. I tried so hard to look for the comments link in your posts but couldnt find it. Perhaps because I am using my phone? Anyway, that’s why Im typing my comment here. I love the way you write. I used to be a single mom too… for almost eleven years. Then I got married again. I have a fifteen year old boy with me on earth and three angels in heaven. I’m hoping and praying for a healthy and normal baby girl who will stay with us for a long time.

Hi Helen, I’m visiting from Instagram. I don’t know why it took me so long to see your photos. When I did, I knew I had to read some of your words. So appreciative of where you are coming from.

Hi Lily, I’m very embarrassed that it’s taken me so long to write back to you. I thank you so much for popping over and for taking the time to leave a comment. I’m very grateful for your support (whilst I love the immediacy of IG, and the ease of it, I’ve been missing my blog….)……thanks, again – so much – for popping across. I’ll head over to your blog now to connect with you there….Helen xxx
